Scott Liljegren is proud of his military background. Before he became a personal injury lawyer in San Diego, he served his country as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United States Navy. Through the JAG program, he served the whole spectrum of military personnel and realized that his passion is helping individuals and families, not necessarily corporations and larger entities.
Now that Mr. Liljegren has found success with his own law firm, he wants to continue serving military families by offering the Liljegren Law Group Military Family Scholarship. The offering consists of 2 awards of $500 to any service member or spouse or child of a service member. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, supplies, or any other school related expense.
To apply, write a 300-500 word essay on how the military has helped prepare you for college. Whether it was through active duty, growing up in a military family, or being strong for your family while your spouse was deployed.
The deadline of June 5th is coming up quickly, so get your submissions in soon. Good luck and thank you to all our service men and women!
