Orlando, FL — A 7-year-old boy got his hands on a gun and accidentally shot a 15-year-old boy in the head. The accident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday in a home.  There were adults present in the house at the time of the shooting.  The teen who was shot is Anthony Lane, Jr.  The boy who allegedly pulled the trigger is a special needs child.  Police are investigating the accident and interviewing all the adults there to find out the facts as to what occurred.  The injured boy …

Houston, TX –A North Forest High School senior was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after accidentally shooting a 9th grader during a fight with another student.  Warren E. Lewis, 18, was in class when a student confronted him.  They went into a hallway and started to fight.  Lewis grabbed a gun he had brought to school and fired five shots, hitting a different student in the leg.  The injured student is in stable condition at the hospital. Waterford TWP, Mich. -A shooting at a roller skating rink during a holiday party left five people injured.  The shooting occurred at the Rolladium about 45 minutes from Detroit.  The incident happened about 1:45 a.m.  right when people were leaving the party.  Witnesses said a fight broke out inside and right after that shooters came in from the outside and started firing and then ran back out.  The skating rink has a surveillance system, but it is not known how much was caught on tape.  Police are looking for the …

Fayetteville, NC —Two teenagers were charged in the shooting of a 15-year-old girl during lunch at Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Caitlyn Ambercrombie, 15, who is in stable condition following surgery, was wounded in the neck while standing outside the cafeteria.  The two teenage boys, ages 18 and 15, participated in the shooting.  The weapon was a .22 Daisy rifle, both the rifle and the shell casings have been recovered. Seal Beach, CA –A gunman opened fire on a busy beauty salon, killing six people and wounding three others on Wednesday afternoon.  Salon Meritage, located in the 500 block of Pacific Coast Highway, was owned by Randy Fannin, who died in the shooting. Carson City, NV– Eduardo Sencion of Carson City opened fire at an IHOP restaurant killing three people and wounding six.  Sencion pulled into the parking lot in his brother’s blue minivan.  He shot a man on a motorcycle before entering the restaurant and opening fire with an AK-47.  Five of the people in the restaurant at the time were uniformed National Guard member. Riverside police officer may have been shot with his own gun

The gun belonging to Officer Ryan Bonaminio, who was shot and killed Sunday night by an unidentified suspect who is still at large, has not been recovered, according to Riverside police.
Police said the officer may have been shot with his own weapon but they are still investigating that possibility.
The city and county of Riverside, the county district attorney’s office, local and federal police agencies, and the Morongo Indian tribe have contributed to a reward of $385,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Randall Yancey, 40, apparently shot and killed his wife, Theresa Yancey, 46, and daughter 8-year-old Madison Yancey on Friday night, and then killed himself, according to Fountain Valley police Sgt. Eric Orahood.
The couple were in the midst of divorce and authorities believe Randall Yancey was upset over a child custody dispute.
The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. Friday in the driveway of a home in the 9900 block of Dandelion Circle.  Police were called by people inside the residence who reported a family fight and gunshots.

Halloween party in Oakland leaves 9 shot in shooting

Nine people were shot early Sunday at a downtown Oakland Halloween party according to authorities.
Police stated that most of the victims were hit in the arms and legs and none of the wounds were believed to be life-threatening. No one was arrested.  The shooting is believed to be one of the largest number of shooting victims at one time in Oakland recent history.

The alleged gunman who injured two students at a Carlsbad elementary school is to be arraigned Wednesday on multiple felony charges of attempted murder.
The gunman, Brendan O’Rourke, 41, is scheduled for arraignment in the Vista branch of San Diego County Superior Court.  He is charged with dressing up in black and screaming incoherently while he attacked and wounded two students at Kelly Elementary School on Friday after climbing a fence on to the school playground.
O’Rourke is being held without bail at the County Jail in Vista.
