Temple, TX — A school bus flipped on its side after being hit by a tractor-trailer, sending 29 children and 3 adults to the hospital on Tuesday. The accident occurred on Farm-to-Marker Road 93 at about 7:30 a.m.  A hardware truck ran a stop sign and struck an Academy school district bus.  The bus driver was knocked unconscious and a 9-year-old boy was ejected through the escape hatch in the bus roof.  Out of the 29 children taken to the hospital, three were admitted.  One child was in critical condition.  …

Pennsylvania –A truck containing a tar-like chemical was driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for about 40 miles while leaking the chemical and damaging vehicles that drove behind it.  The truck from Marino Transportation Services in Stevensville, MD entered the turnpike at the New Castle exit around 8 p.m.  It is not known how many cars were damaged from the leak, but some were damaged to the point they were unable to be driven.  The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is telling drivers with damaged vehicles to call Travelers Insurance, the insurance company …

Santa Clarita, CA —A multi-car crash involving a big rig, trash truck and a Jaguar sedan killed one man and injured another person on Monday.  The crash occurred on the westbound side of Henry Mayo Drive just west of the Golden Sate Freeway at approximately 2:07 p.m.  All lanes except one were shut down for hours.  Authorities are looking into reports that the big rig may have blown a tire just before the crash.  The driver of the Jaguar, Douglas James Parry, 57, of Saugus was killed in the crash …

STODDARD, N.H. — A truck driver caused a three car crash on Route 9 when he lost a 2,000 pound beam off his truck on Thursday in Stoddard.  The driver who works for Zanco Express was carrying sawmill parts to HMC Corp in Contoocook when the beam fell off.  The beam struck an SUV driven by 42-year-old Melissa Mitza, of Moultonborough. A Coldwater man working at the Morgan-Oslo plant in Sturgis was the victim of a pedestrian-semi truck accident early yesterday on the south side of Sturgis.  45-year-old James Chess was run over and killed by the truck around 2:30 a.m. Monday.  Police detectives say alcohol was believed to be a factor.

A Los Altos Hills woman was killed when her bicycle collided with a big-rig on Alpine Road near Portola Valley on Thursday afternoon.  Investigators are still looking for witnesses to this tragic accident.

The driver of a tractor trailer that overturned this morning on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway was killed and another driver was seriously injured, according to Maryland State Police.  The driver of the car was taken to Suburban Hospital and is expected to live.

A New York City man was killed early Wednesday moring when his car collided with a semi truck along the George Washington Bridge.  The collision caused major traffic delays.
Andre Hudson, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident according to authorities.   Jeannette Rodriguez, 50, was a passenger of the vehicle and was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.  According to authorities her injuries were unknown but not thought to be life threatening.
