Dough Masters Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), voluntarily recalled Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Chocolate Chunk Cookies due to allergen hazards associated with them.
The reason for the recall occurred after it was discovered that walnuts were not included in the product’s ingredient list. The recall was announced on Friday, September 17, 2010.
All lots of Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Chocolate Chunk Cookies are affected by the food safety recall, according to reports.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health warned the people of L.A. County Tuesday of two nationwide food recalls linked to salmonella. The tainted products are for certain eggs shipped from Wright County Egg company of Galt, Iowa and frozen mamey pulp fruit from COCO S.A. of Guatemala, according to a statement by the department

Freshway foods has participated in a voluntary recall of products containing romaine lettuce. The safety recall was announced on May 6, 2010 in conjunction with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
E. coli O145 bacteria was discovered in a sample of romaine lettuce. The sample tested positive in a New York state laboratory.
