David Garcia was struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning when he was riding his bicycle to his parents’ home in San Jose. He was struck and then dragged several feet and abandoned southeast of Story Road.
Police are currently looking for the hit-and-run driver of the vehicle. Garcia, 42, is in a medically induced coma and in critical condition.

A union that represents Muni operators urged the San Francisco Municipal Transportation (SFMTA), which manages Muni, to make improvements and modifications to the yard’s aged trackway. This urge occurred after five light rail vehicles derailed at the Green Division rail yard in less than a week.
No one was hurt in these derailments, but the Union is advising the Muni to take action to prevent potential injuries and damages.

Best selling author of “The Big Short” Michael Lewis, is being used for defamation by an asset manager featured in the book.
Lewis’ publisher and hedge fund manager Steven Eisman of FrontPoint Partners LLC are also being targeted.
According to the lawsuit Wing Chau and his firm Harding Advisory LLC believe Lewis made “false and defamatory” statements in the book “and want to redress that wrong.”
Lewis has not commented on the lawsuit. Nor has his publisher and Eisman was unaware of being sued and could not comment.

Taco Bell is fighting back against a lawsuit claiming that its taco filling isn’t beefy enough.
This week, Taco Bell will air television and radio commercials featuring employees talking about the makeup of its taco filling. In one advertisement an employee says, “Our seasoned beef is 88% premium ground beef and 12% signature recipe. If you want to see that signature recipe, go to tacobell.com. It’s right there.”

A fire at the Jackie Child Home Care in Houston killed three children and left two children in critical but stable condition and one child in critical condition. The fire occurred on February 24, 2011 and at this time they are not blaming the woman who was in care of the children at the time of the fire until further evidence is found.

According to police, an Exeter woman was killed Friday morning when the car she was driving struck a school bus head-on.
Stratham Police Chief John Scippa reported the driver, Janelle Hamilton, 25, died at the scene of the crash on Winnicut Road. The accident occurred around 7 a.m.
According to Scippa, Hamilton, was heading in the direction of North Hampton when she lost control of her car on the slippery road and collided with the school bus, which was traveling in the opposite direction.

Johnson & Johnson has been recalling 667,632 Sudafed tablets in the U.S. because of a typographical error in the directions on the label. It’s the second recall of a Sudafed product this year and the fourth J&J episode this month.
Johnson & Johnson said that, “Today’s recall affects Sudafed 24-Hour sold in packages of 10 tablets at the wholesale level. Consumers aren’t required to take any action and can use the medicine by following the correct directions on the blister packaging.”

B.O.B has announced a recall of approximately 337,000 in the US and 20,000 in Canada B.O.B. single and double jogging strollers. The concern is a defective design that can cause strangulation of the child in the jogging stroller.
