Dr. Frank Ryan, 50, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon died when his Jeep Wrangler veered off Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Tuesday.   It appears he posted to Twitter minutes before the crash and may have been texting at the time of the accident, according to his ex-girlfriend.

Ronnie Brown, Miami Dolphins running back, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol late Friday night.
Brown, failed to signal while making a lane change and was pulled over by officers in Atlanta.  He was booked and released from jail early Saturday morning.  Brown has no criminal record. 
Sources said, Brown is distraught over the arrest and has hired and attorney to help defend him in the case.  Brown was arrested because he did not perform well during the field-sobriety test.  The charges could possibly be reduced to a traffic violation in …

Dorell Wright returned to practice with the Miami Heat on Monday.  He had been arrested for a driving under the influence charge and was suspended by the team for two games.
Wright was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license last Thursday at 3:30 a.m. on Miami Beach.  He told reporters “the thing that disgusts me the most” was feeling that he let the franchise and its fans down, especially during a playoff chase.
“It was way out of character for me,” Wright said, “I definitely apologize.”

TORONTO – Poison lead vocalist Bret Michaels was involved in a multi-car accident in Canada over the weekend.
Michaels’ tour bus was traveling to St. Paul, MN after a July 4th performance at Molson Amphitheater in Toronto when a car lost control and hit the side of the bus causing a five-vehicle pile up. No injuries were reported.

Award winning producer Robert Joe Halderman was arrested by authorities after demanding $2 million from T.V. show host David Letterman to keep him from revealing secrets.
The 51-year-old “48 Hours” producer was indicted Friday on charges of trying to blackmail Letterman. San Diego Chargers’ Shawne Merriman was arrested by police after reality star Tila Tequila claimed she was choked by the football player.
The 25-year old linebacker was arrested on Sunday when Tila Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, called police and told them that Merriman tried to forcibly restrain her when she attempted to leave his home early that morning. She was taken to a local hospital with no visible injuries.
Merriman denies all allegations by Nguyen and said that he was trying to stop her from driving drunk.

Running back Marshawn Lynch of the Buffalo Bills was arrested in Culver City on a weapons possession charge.
According the Culver City police, Lynch was arrested Wednesday night after the police approached him and two other guys sitting in a car. Police found a loaded firearm in the vehicle.
The 22-year old all-pro running back was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm after the police determined that the gun belonged to him.
He was released on $35,000 bail.
