Los Angeles, CA — The jury found Dr. Conrad Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson on Monday. The doctor who is 58-years-old could be sentenced to up to four years in prison and could possibly lose his medical license. Bloomfield Township — Over the weekend Detroit Piston Ben Wallace was arrested for driving under the influence and a weapons offense. Saturday evening Wallace, 37, was pulled over for driving erratically behind the wheel of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. His vehicle was searched and an unloaded pistol was found in a backpack in the passenger compartment. Also, he was given a breathalyzer test which showed he had a blood alcohol count above the .08 level, the legal limit.

Washington –Reggie Rogers, a former NFL football player for the Detroit Lions pleaded guilty to his sixth drunk driving charge.
Rogers, 45, was arrested in November at Highway 509 and Port of Tacoma Road in Tacoma. He will begin serving this sentence after he finishes the remainder of a two year sentence from a conviction in 2009. Austin Box, Oklahoma’s linebacker, has five prescription painkillers and an anti-anxiety drug in his system when he died, says his toxicology tests from the state medical examiner.
The death was ruled as accidental. The linebacker was just 22-years-old. The agency says the combination of drugs most likely caused pulmonary edema which is another name for fluid in the lungs, and aspiration pneumonia, which is an inflammation of the lungs caused from inhaling foreign substances.

Diego Maradona, one of Argentina’s soccer legends, was reportedly involved in a car accident outside the outskirts of Buenos Aires on Monday night.
Maradona and his girlfriend Veronica Ojeda apparently suffered minor injuries once their car was hit by a bus just hours before Argentina’s Copa America match against Costa Rica.
Sky News also reported that him and his girlfriend were transported to the hospital and both suffered from cuts and bruises.

Shelby Miller, from Sunday’s All-star Futures game was suddenly changed once she discovered the tragic death of a friend.
Shannon Stone fell to his death on Thursday night at the Rangers Ballpark while he tried to catch a flying ball which landed in the stands last week. Stone was a fellow firefighter and also a close friend of Miller’s father Mitch from Brownwood, Texas.

Michael Lohan just got in a car accident on the Sunset Strip in the middle of rush hour. A bus apparently crashed into his his blue Jaguar.
His car was stopping at a stoplight and a bus cut in front of him, trying to pass him, when it side swept his car.
According to TMZ, Lohan said “Of course you’re here when I get hit by a bus… we exchanged information and everything is fine”.
