Secret Settlement Reached Between Thomas Kinkade's Widow and His Girlfriend
San Jose, CA –A settlement was reached between Thomas Kinkade’s widow and his girlfriend over his estate. Thomas Kinkade died on April 6 due to a combination of alcohol and Valium. After his death a dispute arose between Nanette Kinkade and his girlfriend, Amy Pinto. Kinkade was married to his wife for 28 years. He began dating Amy Pinto six months after his marriage ended. After Kinkade’s death, Pinto produced two handwritten wills which stated that he would leave her $10 million and his home. The two women and their lawyers worked out a settlement, but it has not been made public. We do not know who will inherit Kinkade’s Monte Serrano mansion and his paintings.
