Los Angeles, CA –An Expo Line test train collided with a car in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday injuring six people. The accident occurred on Flower Street near Venice Boulevard around 4:20 p.m. Three of the injured from the train were taken to California Hospital Medical Center, two were taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, and it was unknown where the sixth person was taken. The sixth person had to be removed from the car that was partly wedged under the train. The cause of the accident is under investigation. The new Metro line is set to open this spring and will travel from downtown to Culver City.
