Los Angeles, CA –Katy Perry and Russell Brand have filed documents settling their divorce.  Brand filed for divorce on Dec. 30 citing irreconcilable differences.  The divorce will become final in six months.  Perry is keeping all of the money she made during her marriage to Brand.  The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, but Brand gave up fighting for spousal support.  Under California’s community property laws Brand could have claimed half of the money.  Perry is also changing her name back to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, her maiden name.  Perry and Brand were married in India in October 2010.  If you need representation in a divorce, contact a Los Angeles divorce attorney, today.
