UTAH – Two people are dead while two more are missing after a boating accident at Lake Powell Saturday.

The bodies Mary Anne Taranto and Katherine Prescott were found floating near the lake’s shoreline. The two women’s husbands Terry Michael Taranto and Robert Prescott are still missing after their boat sank in stormy weather on Lake Powell.

A third couple James Brady and Heather Brady survived and swam 1,500 feet before being rescued by authorities. They were treated for hypothermia.

Reports say the three couple rented a speedboat Saturday. The 20-foot boat sank after taking in water after being caught in a “heavy windstorm.”
