NEW YORK – A 13-year old boy is traumatized after killing his father while attempting to park a car in New York.

The accident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on East Tremont Avenue near Schley Ave.

45-year old John Cedeno was teaching his son how to park a car when the teen lost control and struck him and pinning him against a tree.

Police said Cedeno was standing on the driver’s side of the Porsche SUV with it’s doors open.

“What a tragedy. It’s horrible that poor boy has to deal with that for the rest of his life,” a female witness told reporters.

Reports say that the father and son were dining at a restaurant when waiters heard the son ask his father if he could drive.

Police say no criminal charges are expected to be filed.
